What quad bikes will we ride?
We exclusively use Yamaha Kodiak 450 automatic quad bikes on all our safaris. Every rider gets the same 450 model on the Standard, Extreme and Mega safari. We don’t mix 450 and 125cc bikes. A briefing and practice laps are included before you head out.
Do I need experience or a driving licence?
No. Beginners are welcome, and you don’t need a driving licence. Your instructor takes you through a briefing and practice laps before the safari.
How old do riders need to be?
Quad safari riders must be at least 14. Everyone rides their own quad; passengers aren’t permitted.
What should I wear?
Wear old clothes suited to the weather and closed-toe footwear. A full-face helmet is provided. A balaclava is required: bring your own or buy one on site for £3. Overalls are available to hire for £3; gloves are optional.
When should we arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked session so there’s time to get ready.
Will it definitely be muddy?
That part’s down to the weather. Wet conditions bring mud and water; drier days offer a different kind of woodland adventure.
What do I pay when booking?
Book with a £10 deposit per person, with the balance on the day. A £250 group damage deposit is also required, refundable subject to the booking terms. Check the full details and optional extras before booking.
